Cleaning the registry

Although cleaning the registry from Registry Editor is a slightly difficult task to do there is a simple way for this. Download an application named CCleaner. This application analyzes all your unnecessary data on your PC and helps in boosting your lagging PC.

Clear the Temporary Files

Step 1: Navigate to Settings App by searching in Start.

Step 2: Go to System.

Step 3: From the left menu go to Storage and click on the partition where your Windows is installed. You need to select the C:/ partition.

Disable Startup Apps

Step 1: Open Task Manager by pressing Ctrl+Shift+Escape keys together.

Step 2: From there go to Startup Tab.

Step 4: Disable that app/software if it is not necessary.

Check memory usage

Open Task Manager using Ctrl+Shift+Escape keys together. If memory usage exceeds 80% consider attaching more ram to your PC.
